I promise I didn't brainwash her!

I was just joking about teaching Desi to adore Obama. Early this morning (too early for me to fathom me even getting out of bed) she asked for me to get the "Bama" book. She loves to gaze at his picture, kiss him, and feed him. Lunch time today I caught her spoon feeding him hummus! Of course she got it all over his face, so she asked for a napkin and vigorously wiped his face. This one takes the cake. We were talking about her "BooBoo" book all of a sudden she decided to switch gears. She started clapping and cheering, "Way!!!" (She still can't say yay.) I asked her,"Yay what?" More cheering,"Way! Bama. [clap clap] Way!!!" I love this kid.
