Six Flags

Sunday we went to Six Flags. I have always had fond memories of going with my sisters. I remember walking all day until my feet felt like they were going to fall off, the trip home and feeling like I was still riding roller coasters and the endless amount of junk food. I am so big on making special memories for my kids. I really hope that Desmina remembers this trip fondly.

Kids turn to pose

All whole reason for going to Six Flags was to have Desi meet Tweety Bird. She calls him "Twis." Angel, the dog, ate her Twis doll. She was very upset over it. I wanted her to have special memories of how she got a new Twis doll since her dad was gone for so long. She doesn't l.book to excited, I know..this is her face when she rode The Conquisador, the boat that goes really high and back down. Unfortunately, she was not enough for many of the rides. Desmina is a thrill rider, surprisingly. The little girl who is too timid to go down the big curly slide until her brother does it first loves to ride roller coasters.

This was Bodhi most of the day.

Cooling off in the stinky fish water. Ah well, at least she had fun while the adults rode Batman.

This picture cracks me up.

What you woulnd't do for your toddler

Going out in Texas weather...

Suckers...
That is what I usually say when I see a long line. But today, just call us Dum-Dum or toostie roll pop.
We waited an hour...fortunately, while we waited...

What was an hour worth waiting? And $50 admission (although that isn't bad for theme parks these day). It's not a spectacular ride, I can tell you for sure. or free tickets.

Hate it here

Yes, it's a vent. It is hot here. I have the kids 24-7. Bodhi hasn't been sleeping at night and Desmina wakes up early now. Night time parenting sucks. I am the most stressed that I ever have been. I cry all the time. How do single moms do it? Desmina and I keep butting heads right now. I am frazzled and always on edge. So my patience isn't the best. Bodhi keeps on getting into things, destroying the house. I just wished that we would have stayed in New Hampshire. Or that Fred told his boss that he needs to start in Texas sooner.

Obama is cheating on Michelle

with Desmina (or so she thinks)
she is on her play phone. I tell her to go potty.
"I'm talking to my boyfriend."
"Go potty."
"Well fine, hold the phone. Here talk to him."
"What's his name?"
"Obama."

She still has her tiny crush.

Friends Along the Way

To help ease the drive to Texas, Fred agreed to meet up with all my online friends. We had a wonderful time! First day we met the Heathen moms and two other moms from my birth group.

So many mamas! I wished that we had more time to hang out! Zack is such a sweet boy. He can totally woo you with those eyes! Cathy is just as dynamic in real life as she is on PO. Shelly is really sweet and totally cool! I know it sounds weird, but her voice is like honey. It was very nice to hear her talk. She has a really cute son too! Heather is so funny and outgoing. She made me feel at ease. It was so easy talking to her. Well it was easy talking to everyone. Stacy was so sweet too! You can tell that she is very family oriented. She is so creative and business oriented! I
The following day, we met up with another mom from my birth group. M just adores the little girl and always talks about her.

Can you blame her? She is freaking adorable!!!!! Brandy was so sweet to drive all the way out to meet us! I really enjoyed talking to her. She has such strength that radiates throughout her.
For the third day, we met up with another fellow heathen. She made us lunch! Yummy!

We met Liz, Reece and Juliana. Julianna is such a petite little sweetie. She is very smart. Bodhi had a great time chasing her around while Mina and Reece played. Reece is very outgoing and active. It was cute hearing him play with words. Very witty. And Liz was very fun to talk to. She is a great cook!
Meeting all my PO friends really helped me ease into moving back to Texas. I'm still adjusting. I'm still overwhelmed by the heat and the lack of scenery. I am trying not to fall into depression. Fred isn't here right now and so it's hard to take care of the kids. I can barely control my emotions how can I handle when I have sprouts of anger?
I hope that once Fred is here for good, I'll feel better and not so stressed all the time. This is indeed the most stressed I have been.

Christmas in July?

No, it's just Santa's Village, the funnest place on Earth. More fun than Disney Land and not as evil.
