Reverse child psychology. It works.
M: I don't want to go potty!
Me: Please go potty.
M: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
walking to potty because I have to go
Me: Don't you dare go potty at the store! No. I won't let you go.
M: I have to go potty.
Works for putting on pajamas too. Is it manipulative? Yes! But I am going to run with this tactic for as long as I can. Sooo tell it to me straight. How long do I have to play this strategy?

I'm not sure when it stops working, but it definitely does not work on Nevin...LOL!
